Best Farmers Markets in Broward and Palm Beach County: 2026 Fall Guide
Updated September 23, 2026 with 2026-27 opening dates for the West Palm Beach, Delray Beach and Gardens GreenMarkets.
One of my favorite things about living in South Florida is that "farmers market season" starts right when the rest of the country is packing up. Our growing season runs through the cooler months, so fall is when the big markets come back. Here are the farmers markets, farm stands and working farms I'd point anyone to in Broward and Palm Beach County, plus the neighborhoods nearby if you're thinking about a move.
Fall 2026 Opening Dates
- West Palm Beach GreenMarket: back Saturday, October 3, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., running weekly through May 22, 2027.
- Gardens GreenMarket: main season kicks off the first Sunday in October (October 4), 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Delray Beach GreenMarket: winter season starts Saturday, October 24, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., through May 22, 2027.

Brothers Farmers Market (Davie)

Southwest Ranches Markets
The Southwest Ranches Farmer's Market (5150 S. Flamingo Rd.) sells produce, baked goods, local honey and plants, and the seasonal Southwest Ranches Community Farmer's Market (16290 Griffin Rd.) adds food trucks and local artisans on weekends.

Why a Great Market Matters When You Buy a Home
A weekend market says a lot about a neighborhood. It's where you run into neighbors, meet local business owners and see what the area offers. When I'm helping buyers compare areas, I tell them to spend a Saturday morning at the closest market. You'll learn more in an hour than from any listing.
