Coral Springs is a master-planned city of about 136,000 residents in northwest Broward County. Every public school in Coral Springs is part of Broward County Public Schools, and school zones do not follow city limits. Depending on the address, a Coral Springs home may be zoned for Coral Glades High, Coral Springs High, J.P. Taravella High, or Marjory Stoneman Douglas High in neighboring Parkland. Coral Springs Charter School is a separate charter option that draws families from across the area. School zoning is one of the first questions relocating families ask, and a single street can change the assigned schools, so always confirm the zone for a specific address with the district's Find My School tool before making an offer.

Parks, sports, and things to do

Coral Springs invests heavily in recreation. Mullins Park anchors the east side with fields and a pool, next door to the Coral Springs Center for the Arts. The Sportsplex at Coral Springs combines the Panthers IceDen, the Aquatic Complex, and the Tennis Center in one campus. Betti Stradling Park draws skaters and volleyball players, and the Tall Cypress Natural Area preserves a stand of original cypress forest with a boardwalk trail. Add the Museum of Art, youth sports leagues, and a full city events calendar, and weekends fill up fast.
