A free kids meal can make a weekday dinner easier. It can also lead to an awkward check if the offer is one meal per table, the adult order does not qualify, or the restaurant you chose does not participate.

The Friendly Scoop's updated kids-eat-free guide is a useful starting point for Broward and Palm Beach families. Rather than repeat a long calendar of promises, this guide looks at several offers as posted October 14, 2026 and the questions that determine whether they fit your household. Restaurant pages were checked October 14, 2026. Confirm with your exact location before leaving.

For a home buyer, this is one small part of comparing everyday life around an address. A dinner route that fits school pickup and work may matter more to your week than a destination you visit twice a year. A restaurant promotion is not a reason to assume a property will hold its value or that a neighborhood is right for you.

Monday pizza: one per check is different from one per child

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings posts a Monday kids-eat-free offer with a minimum $10 purchase, dine-in only, for children 12 and under. The important limit is one kids meal per check. It is not a promise of a free meal for every child at the table.

The listed choices are a 10-inch cheese or pepperoni pizza, kids spaghetti and meatball, or kids buttered noodle. Extra toppings cost more. The terms say no substitutions and no combining with another offer or reward. Takeout, phone, online and third-party delivery orders are excluded, and participation may vary.

Before choosing a location, ask whether it is participating and which purchases count toward the minimum. Plan the rest of the meal at its actual menu price.

Outback Mondays: the adult entree and ordering channel count

Outback's official offer is one free kids meal with each full-price adult entree at participating locations on Mondays. For dine-in, the page says to mention "FREE JOEY MEAL" to the server. For online redemption, it gives the code JOEYFREE and directs guests to Outback's own ordering site.

The terms exclude applicable taxes and gratuity and prohibit combining the offer with another offer. Product and participation vary. The offer page does not establish an age cutoff, so ask the restaurant rather than borrow an age rule from a different chain.

A code shown on Outback's site is not proof that it works in a third-party delivery app. Likewise, an adult appetizer or a discounted entree is not established as a qualifying full-price entree. Check the order before paying, and ask about any delivery charges when ordering directly.

Nauti Dawg: a local Monday option with a missing limit

Nauti Dawg Marina Cafe in Lighthouse Point posts an all-day Monday offer: a free kids meal and free kids ice cream with an adult entree purchase. Its own kids menu says children 10 and under; the Monday offer itself does not state an age limit. Confirm which rule applies to the promotion. The restaurant lists 2841 Marina Circle as its address.

The homepage does not spell out how many free meals an adult entree covers. Ask that question before promising both children the same deal. Confirm that day's hours, available kids choices and any other conditions at the restaurant.

This is a specific waterfront restaurant, not a chain-wide claim. Its setting may be part of the appeal, but a promotional page does not establish available seating, a reservation or how long dinner will take. Keep the trip realistic for your family's evening.

Miller's Tuesdays: two meals per table or check

Miller's Ale House's current specials page lists Tuesday kids eat free for children 12 and under, dine-in only. It allows up to two kids meals per table or check with a $10 adult food purchase.

That wording matters if you are meeting another family. Four children at one table do not automatically get four free meals. Ask the location about the qualifying purchase and how the limit applies before ordering.

The official directory lists local restaurants including Coral Springs at 1915 N. University Drive, Boca East at 1200 Yamato Road and Boca West at 9244 Glades Road. A directory entry confirms a location exists; it does not independently confirm a particular restaurant's participation on the day you arrive. Check the special with the restaurant you choose.

Weekday pancakes: treat incomplete terms as questions

The Original Pancake House Florida operator's rewards page lists "Kids Eat Free (Monday-Friday)" under in-store promotions, available for dine-in. The operator page posts weekday hours of 7 a.m.-2 p.m.; confirm your location's hours. This is a breakfast or lunch lead, not an established dinner option.

The page does not spell out the children's age limit, qualifying adult purchase or number of meals. The page also does not say whether rewards enrollment is required. Ask the location for its current hours and full offer terms.

Do not assume every independently operated restaurant with the same brand has the same promotion. Use the Florida operator's page as a lead and confirm that your chosen location is covered. An incomplete offer can still be useful, but it should stay a question until answered.

The bill is still a bill

Free describes an eligible item, not necessarily the entire outing. Adult meals, additional children, drinks, toppings, tax, gratuity and delivery charges may still cost money. Compare the whole order you actually want, not a headline about one part of it.

It helps to ask four plain questions: Are you participating today? How old can the child be? What adult purchase is required? How many free meals does our table qualify for? Then ask whether the offer applies to dine-in, direct online orders or another channel.

If an account reward is required for another restaurant's offer, check that it is actually available in your account. Joining a rewards program does not prove a reward has arrived. Expired summer promotions and a social post from last year are not a current offer.

Put the routine ahead of the discount

When comparing homes in Broward or Palm Beach, test the real trip at the time you would make it. Consider pickup, work, traffic and how late you want dinner to run. A small discount can be outweighed by a drive that makes the evening harder.

Keep restaurant choices separate from school assignments, property rules and housing costs. None of these offers establishes those facts. If you are evaluating a move, Homes by Cusi can help you look at the home and the everyday routes around it without turning a temporary promotion into a lifestyle promise.

Use this as a short list of posted offers to check, not a guaranteed meal calendar. Confirm first, order what fits your family, and enjoy the evening. Be friendly.
