Haunted Houses Near Broward and Palm Beach: 2026 Halloween Outings
Thinking about what to do after dark this Halloween? A haunted house is a fun way to explore another part of South Florida, but the right pick depends on who is coming with you. Here are two Broward attractions with current ticket pages, plus a Palm Beach option to keep an eye on.
Nightmare Village at Xtreme Action Park, Fort Lauderdale
Xtreme Action Park lists three haunted houses and scheduled nights from October 2 through November 1, 2026. General admission is listed at $40 for October 2-18, $45 for October 23-25 and $55 for October 29-31; check its ticket page for the exact night and any added fees. It isn't recommended for children under 13. The indoor setting also makes weather less of a factor for an October outing in Broward.
Nights of Fright, Davie
Nights of Fright advertises an indoor haunted house and a 5-6 p.m. Not-So-Scary hour for guests who want a gentler version. Its ticket page shows timed arrivals and limited tickets. Confirm the exact 2026 dates and price for your chosen slot before buying, and read the terms: the attraction says sales are final and sold-out slots aren't available at the door.
Fright Nights, West Palm Beach
The South Florida Fairgrounds is the home of Fright Nights. Its ticket page still included prior-year date language when checked September 30, so I wouldn't rely on its displayed opening day or promotional deadline for a 2026 plan. Recheck the fair's current calendar and ticket page before making the drive. The Friendly Scoop's 2026 guide has more haunted-house options across Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade, including age guidance.
A Better Way to Explore the Area
Make an evening of it rather than driving straight to the ticket gate. If a neighborhood interests you, visit in daylight first. Check the commute, the nearby shops and parks, then come back after dark to see a different side of the area. A Halloween attraction can make a visit memorable, but it doesn't tell you what daily life or a home purchase will be like.
